I take the stress out of photography

So many people say to me that they aren't photogenic or hate getting their photograph taken. I know it's not easy getting in front of the camera, particularly on your own.

I promise you that our shoot will be fun, creative and will flow effortlessly. It's something just for you. To remind you that you are unique. You are beautiful. It will be an experience that you won't forget

SO HOW DOES IT WORK?

Upon booking a session, I carry out a pre-shoot consultation with you to provide guidance on preparing for your shoot. This includes what clothes to wear, what you need to bring with you on the day and tips from previous clients on how to prepare.

On arrival for your session, you’ll received a warm welcome and a glass of something fizzy to get you in the mood. We will then have a look at the selection of clothing that your have brought with you and select which outfits best compliment your style and dream looks.

** DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID SITUATION - UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE HAIR & MAKE-UP AT PRESENT. THIS WILL BE REVIEWED OVER THE COMING MONTHS **

Normally, you would be pampered by the hair stylist & make-up artist, who helps you look radiant & feel glam. At present, I'm happy to work with you and guide your own hair stylist / makeup artist on what works best.

Just remember that you are always in control. Whether you prefer understated natural glamour or something with a bit more impact, it’s up to you.

It’s then time for your photoshoot with me, Catriona. I’ll help you relax and guide you through a variety of poses to bring out your inner beauty. We will have lots of fun along the way. Remember to book a night out with your partner or friends after the session because you are going to look and feel amazing!

INVESTMENT
Session Investment normally starts from £149. This would includes pre-session consultation, hair & make-up provided by a professional stylist, your photo session (lasts around 2 - 3 hours including hair/make-up), digital enhancement of images and reveal session (to view your final images and place your order).
Due to current Covid situation, I am able to offer the photo session only for £99 - you arrange your own hair & makeup.
  • There is an A la Carte range of collections available for clients to choose from after the session including prints, photo album and wall art. Session fee does not include any prints or products.

Award winning Northern Ireland Portrait Photographer and Educator.  Specialising in headshot photography, personal branding & portrait photography.  Based in Coalisland, Co Tyrone, I primarily work throughout the island of Ireland.  My photography school, The Photo Academy NI, was created around 5 years ago.  I provide a range of photography workshops, both online and in person. These include beginners photography workshops, taking better photos with your smartphone and photography mentoring.

My photography style is modern, creative and colourful.  I know stepping in front of the camera can be daunting.  My aim is to take the fear out of photography. Clients are put at ease, feel relaxed and we bring out the best version of you on camera.

Be Beautiful Be You 1

I was fortunate enough to win a number of awards last year.  The one I am most proud of is The Photographer’s Bar, from The Guild of Photographers.  This is a unique distinction awarded to those photographers who have successfully had images assessed by the Guild of Photographers over the course of a year.  You must attain a score that evidences an exceptional level of professional skill and consistency throughout that full year.

Guild Director Lesley Thirsk said “I am delighted for Catriona as this is a great achievement! Submitting and having images assessed every month for a year and reaching the required standards to become a member of the Photographers Bar is very demanding.  It illustrates her commitment, skill and consistency.  Catriona should be very proud of what she has achieved.”
