Take this opportunity to spend some time by the coast to meditate, journal and capture images with fellow creatives
Our Soul to Sea Workshop helps you find inner happiness and peace. Decompress from the stresses of daily life and soak up the soothing sound of the ocean
We all know the therapeutic benefits of being by the coast – it can help reduce anxiety, ease pain and improve overall mindset.
Research has shown that looking at images of the sea brings many of the same benefits.
Even more so when you take the photos yourself, so this workshop provides you with the opportunity to capture your own little piece of heaven to view at home.
After introductions, we spend time grounding ourselves by the shore. Everyone will have the chance to meditate for 15 minutes, listening to the ocean waves (weather permitting).
Creative Journaling – then it’s time for some goal setting and reflection. To release limiting beliefs and focus on what we want to bring into our lives
Mindful Photography – time to explore and capture beautiful coastal images. Guided by a professional photographer, there will be tips on light, colour and composition
Sharing Circle – We will complete our chill out workshop with a cuppa and safe space to share stories.
Everyone who attends will receive a beautiful little gift to help you remember your Soul to Sea experience
The act of holding a river or ocean rock in your hand, closing your eyes and taking a few deep breathes helps you connect with nature.
When we combine this with creatively painting the rock, it elevates it to an object that radiates with calm. The smooth colourful surface of the mindfulness stone, feels soothing and is a great visual focus point for meditation

We will draw on the ‘5 Steps to Wellbeing’, to help nourish your creative soul through the medium of photography
* Connect – with our spirit, nature, the people in our lives and explore how we communicate
* Be Active – this course will encourage you to get outdoors, try new activities and build your strength
* Take notice – rather than just see the obvious, we will look for the unique, sometimes unseen images that fire our imagination
* Keep learning – Try new things, techniques and experiment
* Give – What you give out, you get back. What you want in your life, give to others. When you express your creative soul & share with others, just think what joys you will receive
Therapeutic Photography is process of taking, reviewing, and sometimes displaying, your own images for the purpose of personal growth and healing.
Researchers at Lancaster University found that taking a daily photo had a positive impact on wellbeing. It promoted self-care, encouraged interaction and gave time for reflection.
